Seventh Biennial Meeting of the Cognitive Development Society

The CDS meeting will take place at the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia, PA. The conference rate of $169/night will be available to attendees for the nights of October 12 - 16, 2011. Reservations must be made by September 13, 2011. After this date, availability and rate cannot be guaranteed. To reserve a room, please visit the hotel's website.

Stipends of up to $500 are available to encourage participation at the 2011 meeting by faculty, postdocs, and students from under-represented minority groups and those with disabilities. To apply for these funds, please submit a brief memo by July 31, 2011 to Martha Alibali (mwalibali@wisc.edu) indicating your eligibility and professional status, a copy of your CV, whether or not you are presenting at the conference, an estimate of your travel expenses, and an assessment of what additional funding is available to you. Applicants will be notified of travel awards by August 26.

Philadelphia is served by the Philadelphia International Airport, a 20-minute cab ride from the Sheraton Society Hill. The Lady Liberty Shuttle offers rides from the airport to Center City hotels, including Sheraton Society Hill, for $10 each way. No reservations are required from the airport, however, an advance reservation must be made for trips to the airport by calling 215-724-8888.
